We are looking for a site to host our midi karaoke
files and our midi files. If you have a place we can store our files (or
know of one) please let us know.
Requirements
We require approximately 400 megabytes of disk space.
We have files in .kar, .mid, .st3 and .zip formats. We are considering
making all our files .zip format. This should substantially reduce the
requirements of the library. It would be possible to split the files between
multiple sites. The logical split would be between the midi files and the
karaoke files. We currently have two domains: FreeMidi.com and MidiKaraoke.com
Limitation
We cannot house our files on any of the free servers
such as GeoCities due to two main factors. First, we cannot house our files
on any site that displays advertising, and secondly most of these sites
including GeoCities do not allow housing of file libraries. We realize
that many file libraries do exist on these free servers, but they most
likely go unnoticed to the host due to smaller numbers of files and far
fewer hits.
